You know it’s going to be a great project when the business owner comes into the shop and declares “I want the seating to be the most important thing in the restaurant right after to the food.” We like that attitude a lot!

Boca is a reimagined dining experience that uses a timeless technique and modern decadence to delight culinary curiosity. The restaurant showcases flavors from Italy and France and has been recognized as one of the top French Restaurants in the US by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

Boca was the project that put Orange Chair on the Design/Build Map. We were presented with the difficult task of working with an extremely large team to transform one of Cincinnati’s most revered restaurant spaces (formerly The Maisonette) to transform into the most anticipated new restaurant in the city over the past generation. Working directly with ownership, architects and the design team we were able to create amazing intimacy for a restaurant space. The centerpiece of the 16’ double-sided camelback sofa added a residential feel rarely seen in a restaurant space.
