Earth and Ocean, and all the edibles in-between! When the E+O Restaurant Group decided to expand their footprint from The Hyde Park neighborhood in Cincinnati to downtown, Orange Chair made sure they were involved in participating yet again in another top-end restaurant in the Theater District.

One challenge to this project was that the process of changing out the façade of this historic building created cracks and inconsistent masonry courses. We needed to seamlessly integrate the building’s age with the new, more modern glass facade. The traditional banquette structure was no longer an option for us.

Instead, we overlayed a site-specific framework that was scribed to the irregular masonry course. We were able to keep the seating height at the proper 19” while creating dining comfort commensurate with such a reputed establishment.
