Sacred Beast is a modern bar and diner located in the heart of Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine district.

The owners of Sacred Beast wanted to create a chic, hip and welcoming “modern” diner featuring an upscale food and cocktail menu. To help them achieve this, Orange Chair was approached with an unusual request to fulfill – the space needed to be led by “seat-scaping” Finally, someone gets it! They wanted us to make the seating a feature point for a reason, to invite and welcome guests!

After going through a number of inspiration images, the Sacred Beast team decided to go with EXTREME TUFTING. The banquettes were double-sided booths that featured roll over tufting – front, back, top, and sides!

The result was a success! The low horizon lines of the dining area, kitchen, and bar allowed for the espresso faux leather tufted booths to stand out both in color and warmth as a stark invitation to come in and hang out – all hours of the day!
