Riffing off of the throne seating for the Cincinnati Reds Handlebar Club, the 4th iteration of the thrones was an even more difficult challenge. How do you take a product designed to be used in a covered space and make it work completely outdoors 24/7/365 in all types of weather?

The search for the appropriate materials started anew. We found an amazing product that was “petrified” paper, processed in both fire and ice. This material was color-thru and color fast, any marring could be buffed out with scotch-brite and was also a green product with LEED certification. It was also soft enough to be able to CNC the Reds logo as well as other baseball-related graphics directly and permanently onto the material. For an extra unique touch, we placed actual MLB pitching Rubbers on every stair tread!

The newly engineered outdoor thrones have lived several seasons now in various weather conditions and still look as great as the day they were installed.
