Northern Kentucky University Founder’s hall features one of the most visually dynamic seating pieces that we have ever come across, much less participated in! This job was brought to us by our good friends at Morgan Smith Industries, and we were able to work collaboratively with their team through a number of engineering concerns for this project.

It is typical to expect that seating like this might simply nestle up to and against the grander architectural sculpture that appears behind. However, due to the weight of the installation, the interior skeleton of the structure had to be within the seating framework and accessible for the installation as well any future maintenance that might be required.

Orange Chair accommodated all of those conditions while keeping the full seating package looking as though they were built in the same way, with the same comfort as the center piece.
